What common cause do you have with that priest, what do you stand for or oppose that would cause you to join that priest if he were alive today? What would unify you in the way you expect our atheism to unify us?
BTW, one of the people you've been talking to is a Christian, just FYI. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them an atheist, even here.

The definition of "atheism" should be broadened to include a lack of belief in supernatural things period, not just gods. I mean, why stop at gods.

Yes, why stop at gods? Don't you believe in unicorns Ahri? The definition of theism should be broadened to include beliefs in unicorns.
It's in magic book, after all.

Your second point is incorrect because what links you all to each-other is your “lack of belief in Gods” and what links me to an Aztec priest in 500BC is our beliefs in Gods.
Third point : You can’t have an opinion on souls or afterlife which are god-related topics and then claim the definition of an atheist which is “lack of belief in Gods”.
Your third point is wrong. Beliefs about souls and the afterlife are not necessarily god-related. And it is consistent with a lack of belief IN gods to hold opinions about them. It's a lack of belief in [the existence of] gods, not a lack of an opinion about gods [and related matters]. It doesn't entail anything about a person's views about souls and the afterlife.
If this is the whole point of your thread then you've screwed the pooch. You are laboring under some logical and factual errors. You can’t have an opinion on them unless you’re an agnostic atheist for example. Because souls and afterlife are always … always linked to one God or another in different parts of the world.

At work.

Unless you switch to another atheist sect.
Again, you are demonstrably wrong on this point as has been explained with the evidence of Bhuddistcand Taoists.
That you keep insisting the word 'Sect' also has some correct usage when applied to Atheism is something i'm also finding really weird.
EDIT: It's either good or bad that this reply addressed the 'Gods+souls' Vs the 'Non-gods+souls' thing...... Hmmmmm....

Because there are atheists who believe in supernatural things that aren't gods. Naturalist is one word for someone who doesn't believe in anything that can be considered supernatural.

Your answer seems like poor rationalization. My denomination has the answers to these questions and says that they exist. Our definitions allow us to have this position because we believe and atheists don’t.
Good for you and your denomination. It does not mean that I or other atheists need to consider those answers correct. Have you ever considered that your denominations answers might be wrong?
Would you like to tell us your denomination/sect or should we guess?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

How is this consistent with “lack of belief in Gods”? Souls and afterlife are always linked to one God or another. In your belief system, perhaps. There's really nothing else to say on the matter because it's a trivial fact easily discernable by the most shallow investigation of peoples beliefs. Or even the simple definition of the term, which you claimed to refer to.
Atheists don't believe in gods. If someone tells you that they're an atheist, you have the answer to that one question. You won't know whether they believe in chakras or karma or ghosts or wizards and fairies... you won't even know if they're religious...unless you ask about those things.

I ran a poll here asking the question of whether atheism required disbelief in the supernatural. Of those that answered, only 15% said yes.
