I'm ok with that piece.

To be picky ... data processing doesn't require a brain per se. But yeah, it helps. Maybe information processing does but that depends on definitions.

Yeah, although Dr. Hobson is insightful about a wide range of issues, he does get some big ones wrong.  Part of the reason I'm reviewing his books is that I want to clarify those kinds of issues.
