I'd really like to know how to post images from say Google photos and Google images. Also Youtube so it shows as an image and not just a link. Wiki showing an introduction to the topic.

Yes, I know it's also to ask, but I will appreciate the info. Perhaps simplify/ dumb it down a notch or two.

You have to host pics somewhere. I use imgur. You join for free, and copy the pic (it'll go as a url) and paste in your "reply" window. Upload the images from your computer, first.

As for youtube, when you have the "reply" window open, click on the chunk of filmstrip next to the emoji with the shit-eating smile, and scroll down to youtube. Paste the url in there. Be sure to scroll down to youtube. There are many choices for video hosts.

AH. Your images are stored in the cloud?  Any way to use Google photos?

Images is easy if you don't want fancy. Just wrap image tags around your photo's url lie so:

{img}Your URL here{/img}

Albeit bang in square brackets instead of the squiggly ones.
