[Quranic reflection]: The Big Bang theory in the Quran.

RE: [Quranic reflection]: The Big Bang theory in the Quran.
This is the same idiot who didn't believe that plasma was physical. And he's supposed to know if the Quran matches the scientific facts? He'd have to know the scientific facts in order to determine that, which he doesn't.

I'm amused that religious people continue to play this game - it actually undermines their position.  Think of it this way:  A scientist (usually of a different belief, or none) has succeeded in explaining a natural principle better than a god.   Hehe

There are no verses or holy writings of antiquity worldwide, that had any modern scientific understanding.

Because, like you said, they are vague, and I would add to that ambiguous.

It would be like if I pointed to the sky and said, "The sky is blue". Anyone can do that, but nobody back then had any knowledge that light was not in any object, but in the light waves the sun produces, which bounce off the planet's surface giving the sky the appearance of being blue. But funny that, it seems translucent at night.

Modern inspiration & "prophecy" at work:

Anything like this in any ancient text??

Quote:Read my text again and again: scientists' knowledge stop at the explosion of the Singularity; nobody knows what came before the Singularity:

‘Before the Singularity’ is a semantically null statement. It’s like asking ‘What colour is Tuesday?’ or ‘What does blue taste like?’

Boru

Since the Singularity itself was there; there are 2 pathways to what came before it:

1-The scientific path that says : "??",not known.
2-The theistic path that attributes the creation of the singularity to a deity.

Muslims see that Allah is the maker of the Singularity and the architect of the universe. The evidence can be seen clearly in the Quranic verse:

Quote:Sura 21, The Quran:

https://quran.com/21?startingVerse=30&tr...C207%2C149

(30) Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart?1 And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

muslims have no clue what singularity is or where it might have been until those who are smart enough not to attribute anything to allah came to the conclusion that such an thing would be what theories with know flaws would predict if they were stretched beyond the scope in which they were known to perform satisfactorily.

When those smart enough to know when theory has room for improvement improve their theories, dipshit disgraces to monkey kind like you would say muslims, who basically know nothing, alway knew that the new theory would predict, even if your idiot words right in this thread proved conclusively that you don’t.

Singularities do not exist physically; they are mathematical abstractions.

There was no Earth until billions of years after the big bang, with billions and billions of worlds and events coming and going in between.  So no.  That passage is nonsense.

It's no revelation living things are made of water, since we dry up and die without it.  What about the 12% carbon in people?  That would be something.  But.  Right.  Silence.

Let's analyse the verse and see:

Quote:(30) Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass

The one mass is the Singularity, the verse literally tells that it is composed from the contents of "heaven and earth" or the Ratq رتق , today you call the "Rarq" with "Singularity", scientists are also saying this:

https://www.researchgate.net/post/What-d...20Universe.

Quote:The initial singularity was a singularity of seemingly infinite density thought to have contained all of the mass and space-time of the Universe before quantum fluctuations caused it to rapidly expand in the Big Bang and subsequent inflation, creating the present-day Universe. The initial singularity is part of the Planck epoch, the earliest period of time in the history of the universe.

regards

The verse continues to describe the Big Bang:

Quote:then We split them apartAnd We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

Quran 21:30 told what took humans 1400 years to discover.
A nomad Muslim from the 8th century literally knew what you know today.

Relativity is not valid in the quantum realm, so it cannot make a prediction when the universe was very small.  We would have something very small, but likely not a singularity.
