Having heard good things, I've finally decided to check it out.

Actually, I'm waiting for the DVD collection to come out because I only subscribe to basic cable TV. From what hardcore LotR fans have been saying, however, it might not be worth watching. I think I haven't seen or read any good reviews to date.
