Maybe there aren't many Christians in England because we get it shoved down our throats at school (it's the law here). Message to American Christians - be careful what you wish for ....

I've not discovered the chatroom yet; I did notice when signing up that the name "Matthaios" (and every other name seemingly related to the name "Matthew") wasn't available (hence the squiggle).

Deepest, darkest Southampton (though we will definitely be moving in a more Northerly direction soon).

Interesting, as this wasn't the case at the state schools I went to. In any case, force-feeding Christianity (if indeed a force-fed belief system can be properly called "Christian") is certainly a good way to secularize a place.

No kidding. I was raised in Warsash, so I still have ties down that way. And Darwinian (one of the admins here) is in Gosport.
