A crank study and he's right and you're wrong... Hehe

What does that mean?

It's a gun-vaccine. Both saving lives in the best way.

I hate it when I have to explain, ruins the joke.

Why would it be "falsely claimed"? It's based on an actual study. Unlike you who keep insisting without evidence that guns kill so many more people than they save that banning them is justified.

A claim can be based on an actually study and still be wrong.

As, for example, any claims based on his study of croatian toponyms would be, according to the linguist he consulted.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Sure, but there are different levels of wrongness. Claims that aren't based on a study are way more wrong than claims that are based on a flawed study.

Why do you think my comparison of guns with variolation is wrong?

Not necessarily. Suppose I make the claim, without a study, that trees are made of wood. Someone conducts a flawed study which concludes that trees are made of pickled beets.

Which claim is ‘way more wrong’?

Gary Kleck's study is, until you point to a better study, the best data we have. And I see no reason to think that almost everybody who thinks a gun saved their life is somehow mistaken, which seems to be the only way Gary Kleck's study could be wildly wrong.

Nope, bad science is not a substitute for no science and credulity isn't an argument.
