What has Christianity truly contributed to humanity
RE: What has Christianity truly contributed to humanity
Also as a side note species can change little over vast periods of time this does not conflict with evolution because there is no reason things must change only that they do when conditions are right. Stasis and resistence are a fact of evolution.

I'd like to think aliens would be smarter than theists.

Under those conditions, there should be at bare minimum 10 times as many fossils of N3 as of N2, and 1000 times of N3 as of N1. Even that's a vast under-estimate, because Population would grow extremely large, at accelerating rates, across those vast timescales. Next, any statistically significant deviation from these Mean Values - and that's why we'd formulate the Null Hypothesis - shows Evolution is most probably a false explanation of actual real-world physical data - the Alternative Hypothesis.

You should read about the Statistical Field of Hypothesis Testing.

"A statistical hypothesis test is a method of statistical inference used to decide whether the data at hand sufficiently support a particular hypothesis. Hypothesis testing allows us to make probabilistic statements about population parameters ...

The p-value was devised as an informal, but objective, index meant to help a researcher determine (based on other knowledge) whether to modify future experiments or strengthen one's faith in the null hypothesis.[3] Hypothesis testing (and Type I/II errors) was devised by Neyman and Pearson as a more objective alternative to Fisher's p-value, also meant to determine researcher behaviour, but without requiring any inductive inference by the researcher.[4][5]"

A dumbass who does not understand evolution and does not know what fossils are is lecturing on both topics in a thread that is not about evolution.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

"People who hate the Truth will hate you for telling the Truth", Christians who discouraged me from sharing the Eternal Gospel of Love with Atheists told me. How right they were, but that doesn't discourage me. But yes, this thread is not about Evolution per se. I will move it to the one that is, and welcome honest and serious intellectual engagement with the issue from people on both sides as we work it out and look at the various assumptions and parameters.

A corruption of the meaning of truth for the theistic delusion is an intellectual tragedy.

Nope as i repeat above

Quote:As I already said the number of fossils has nothing to do with population or long a species has been around and the number of how many we find is all evidence we require for the theory to be true we don't don't need to estimate numbers of predicted fossils as ANY amount is enough even if we only found one out of a population of billions as fossils are rare and only sometimes we find large numbers. So this experiment is just creationist mental masturbation. We have all the fossils we need. And no amount of your creationist priori denialism will change this,

What you think you should be the case is irrelevant

People here have been telling you the truth and you hate them for it.

Yeah, a guy who claims that evolution is the trick of the devil claims he wants an intellectual engagement on it - again, he is lying.

All you have done is spew bullshit and call it" truth" and "love"

And even there you totally failed

We only require one perimeter. Fossil exists and we have them. Your opinions of what should be the case are irrelevant.
