There are so many kinds of Christians out there, probably there are some who make a claim like this.
I think you'll find that no serious theologian after Plato claims anything like this, though. Plotinus, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, all the way up through Boehme and Blake, would find that image of God to be insupportable and laughable.
(And by "serious theologian" I mean someone who doesn't ask for money on TV.)

Why are ther many kinds?

That doesn’t make sense since there’s supposed to be only one god and one instruction book

Science doesn't know how the universe was created but is trying to find out (mostly worked out to a small fraction of a second after the big bang, working on the details)
Replacing "I don't know" with "god did it" is a cop out.

Hi Zebo,
God always existed. Something had to. It’s a bit inconvenient to know we are responsible to a higher being. But God offers hope to humankind.
Many eminent scientists believe in God, including the priest who discovered the Big Bang. It’s not a competition between God and Science. The more Science discovers the more amazing is God’s creation of the universe.

Hi H
You are correct to a degree. There is only one God, and the main instruction book is the Bible. But Jesus Christ also founded the Catholic Church, the one, true Church, and gave it authority to teach humankind.

There are strict conservation laws, which point to something existing across the entire domain of time.

Hi LG
God exists outside of time. Either God created the world, or it randomly existed from nothing, or it always existed from nothing from infinity. If the latter it’s impossible to reach the present from infinity. So the only explanation is an external creator, and that’s what we call God.
God is hard to understand, but God is the only answer.

Was “outside of time” the very first thing it invented?

If not, was it jesus and ghost?

Dude, every religion claims to be the one true faith, literally all of them. They are all so different, how can just one of them, out of all the others, be the true religion? Not plausible. I like Catholicism as much as the next guy, but to say that it's the "one true church" simply doesn't track.

I’m not sure why there is so much hostility to God. “Malevolent” is a very judgmental word. A “purposeful falsehood”, really. God offers hope. Atheism offers a meaning less death, and life really.
Cheers Barry

Atheism doesn't "offer" anything, I simply don't find any of the so called evidence for gods to be convincing. What does "not believing in pixies" offer?

Again, how do you KNOW?
You believe god always existed but you don't KNOW it

Well dude, doesn’t it seem quit foolish to believe in any religion?

Since none of them have any evidence of any god existing?

Your desire to believe is stronger then wanting to know the truth.
