Those are all examples of gods. Argument?

Nope, they're examples of people making up gods.

Of course I would. Why wouldn't I? I know unbelievers don't like definitions but for the sake of argument let's have some.

Evidence: the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.

Truth: the quality or state of being true; that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality; a fact or belief that is accepted as true.

So, what's the evidence on Potter? He's a fictional character. It's like Santa Claus. You can't deny the existence of Santa Claus and be surrounded by him. Especially during that warm and fuzzy corporate time of year. It isn't so much a question of literal existence, it's a question of definition. The evidence of God's literal existence is abundant, but that don't mean much.

Evidence and truth are a crutch for people with a pathological narrow mindedness.

Can I quote that last line in my signature if I attribute it to you?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

So what ?
Any ONE culture doesn't buy into all your examples of gods.
Generally a culture has ONE concept of a god, not a bunch as you suggest.
You have no knowledge of HISTORY and specific cultures, and your proposition is false.
Every historical culture had very specific unique concepts of the gods, and list all the concepts of the gods from a dictionary is totally useless and ignorant.

I'm not going to go back and find it, but (DATA) Roger Penrose never "condemned" anything.
He may have said he disagreed with the concept. Unlike you people in religions who condemn all sorts of shit, so that's just how you think,
physicists don't "condemn" anything, except perhaps ignorance. Angels in Babylon were not gods. Neither were "revered" people (the prophets) in Israel.

According to the Bible, faith is substance for the imaginary.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

It's really cheap to produce and there's no government regulation on it, unless the CHURCH is the STATE. Then everybody in that country is pretty much fucked.

There's all sorts of total nonsense "according to the Bible".
It's not really a very reliable standard for validating what is true.

So your god acts when he is threatened.   Got it.

What? Are you truly surprised that it takes wisdom to understand profound things and some fools get it wrong? Like the way fools justify nonsense by appealing to principles of quantum mechanics.
