This is the Imperial aspect of some western nations. I think I have to agree with you on that. Still: In Ottoman times there were Jews, Muslims, and Christians + … who were all living with one another without doing anything to one another. So it’s a historical truth, 19th century imperialism is still something that messed up the entire planet so much that we are unable to rectify anything even in modern times. Look at Afghanistan. If you have some time read Khaled Hosseini (an Afghan Novelist living in the US). These people had a culture, a history, a way of life. Also: Nobody would even trade the Middle East of the 50’s to the situation we have today. You know in the 80’s I knew some good Iraqi people who had migrated to Turkey because of Saddam. And I’ve also been to Egypt and Syria. Everything was better under French and British colonialism. Even in Algeria, a country who has fought against the French for their independence, the influence of authoritarianism and political Islam is just depleting these countries from everything they have. Result: Young people are hopeless, people have no prospect for the future, the elites are morally corrupt hypocrites, the whole thing is F. up. And this is not the fault of Israel. Yaggadish Vassudev has very interesting speeches on this. He hates British colonialism. Anyway, there were just two leaders in the world who could successfully say “No” to Imperialism. One of them is Mahatma Ghandi, the other is Kemal Ataturk in Turkey. So today India + Turkey (+ Pakistan) are not in a very good shape. But we are still standing. We didn’t flip to a China-style authoritarianism. We are not F. up nations either. But this supremacists / elitist approach has to go. So the video is showing us the Imperial aspect of the USA. Yes but let’s be real: We are not living in paradise either.
If you want to have the US out of the Middle East, that’s fine. But what happens to the Middle East if that happens? So there is a dysfunction here. But the world as a whole is a huge dysfunction if you are willing to see matters exactly as they are. We need a shift. Our entire worldview has to change. Today I read that the Ukrainians are unable to use British artillery anymore because they are out of shells. The price of on shell is 2000 Euros.
So I’m totally convinced that a new way of doing things is needed. The old paradigm is not working. I think our current way of doing almost everything will have to change at some point

The whole thing is completely messed up. And as I said before, there is no Arab world. Not in reality. This entire area in the past used to rich, prosperous, with poets, writers, schools, beautiful architecture, thriving industries, culture, beauty… You know, Bon Jovi has very nice video clip called “Dry Country”. That’s the only thing it is today. Just Oil, skyscraper and that’s it. The whole region. The “Arab World”.

You know I did lash out on social media yesterday because of this. Yes, I am with the people of Israel and I am with the people of Palestine. But no, I’m not on the Side of Netanyahu and technically, it’s not possible for me to be on the side of Hamas. God says “Vengeance in mine”. So we do not avenge people like that. Yes, they are fascists. I agree with you on that. But Netanyahu’s right wing partners are the Jewish version of theocracy. They want to create a Jewish version or the IRI. But no form of theocracy and/or authoritarianism can be a solution for anyone. And we must stop seeing the other side as the enemy. Israelis have a right to life as much as the Palestinians. So the International Community has to start a new and serious type of Camp David on this. Because as I said before. These is feeding the ideology of Political Islam around the world. I read some left-wing article here. It was said the Hamas was created in the 80’s by the CIA + Mossad to weaken the position of the Socialist PLO. So it’s a theory among others. But Terror is not a solution to terror. That’s for sure
