I happily grant that there has been misinformation on both sides, but can you at least condemn Hamas butchery of 260 people at the concert? Before you decline to do so, there is video footage of that massacre.

Boru

The attack on the Israeli concert happened in the first days of the surprise attack of Hamas:

https://www.aljazeera.net/news/2023/10/7...8%A6%D8%B9

It is mentioned in Al Jazeera, sadly the article is in Arabic, the attack was with rocket bombardment on the area then soldiers stormed the concert; arresting the attenders.

But I will be inclined to condemn it if Israel doesn't kill civilians; but it butchers civilians; using the terrible White Phosphorus as ammo to burn its victims, it also bombed families and children for decades; if Hamas was as terrible as Israel; it would've burned the concert with napalm or demolished it with rockets, it wouldn't even send infantry to capture people there !

Israel's brutality exposed itself with the scorched earth tactic it waged on Gaza, or perhaps Netanyahu and his extreme right wing party exposed themselves.

So slaughtering unarmed civilians is okay as long as your enemy does it? No matter how they killed them they still killed them.

So, you’re unable to condemn the attack. The atrocities committed by Israel do not excuse or justify those committed by Hamas, and vice versa.

Your refusal to condemn the monstrosity of Hamas’ actions is no different from the media lauding the monstrosity of what Israel is doing in Gaza. The only difference is one of degree, not of kind.

You’re a monster yourself.

RE: Palestine
In this edition of "Was that so Fucking Hard?" here are a few statements:
  • Israel has been illegally occupying Gaza and the West Bank and turning it into an apartheid state for DECADES.
  • In the lead-up to the recent war, Israel was forcing Palestinians out of homes they had been living in for generations, which is, at minimum, a small-scale sort of ethnic cleansing.
  • In recent days, Israel's bombing of Gaza has gone well beyond any justifiable retaliation, and about the only reason I'd hesitate in calling it genocide at this point is that Gazans are more of a demos than a genos, and that calling it genocide would be like calling a similar full-scale assault on, say, Denver, Colorado a genocide. But that's just splitting hairs, because, either way, it's still a horrible event that's leading to the needless deaths of thousands of civilians.
  • Hamas isn't even close to blameless in what it's been doing in the war, and you don't need to make up stories about beheaded babies to demonstrate that. Indeed, their decision (well-documented) to kill 270+ Israelis who just wanted to dance to some electronic music at Re'im is a good example of an act well worth condemning. And that's just one.
  • Frankly, when it comes to their bombing campaigns, the biggest difference between the IDF and Hamas is that the former's better-funded.
  •  Hamas has long had genocidal aims dating all the way back to its original 1988 charter.
I acknowledge that all of these statements are true, and I condemn both Israel and Hamas for making them so, because, frankly, two wrongs don't make a right, especially when both wrongs are crimes against humanity.

They attacked Israeli civilians because Israeli army does it all the time, it's the law of Islam to treat aggression with aggression:

Quote:Sura 2, The Quran:
https://quran.com/2?startingVerse=190

(190) Fight in the cause of Allah ˹only˺ against those who wage war against you, but do not exceed the limits. Allah does not like transgressors.

(192) Kill them wherever you come upon them and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you out. For persecution is far worse than killing. And do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque unless they attack you there. If they do so, then fight them—that is the reward of the disbelievers.

(193) But if they cease, then surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Just like Israel raids Palestinian civilians, Hamas would also raid Israeli civilians.
Just like Israel bombs cities like Gaza, Hamas would bomb cities like Tel Aviv.
If Israel cease -like verse 193-, Hamas should cease.

There's something I don't understand, Boru: countries like the U.S even nuked civilians when their civilians got "scratched" in Perl Harbor, and Palestinians are not allowed to hold themselves to the human-beings level?

And always, Allah is merciful. There is always a chance to cease and end this bloodshed. If Israel chose peace, Hamas is forced to choose peace also.

RE: Palestine
And is there a reason you assume that we actually approve of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (the only actual use of nuclear weapons in warfare)? At best, it was a failed attempt at getting an extremely obstinate enemy to surrender that ended up creating a mess of problems in its wake.

About this Hadith:

Quote:Moreover, if the links have been distant from each other and if obstacles, placed by those who are the lackeys of Zionism in the way of the fighters obstructed the continuation of the struggle, the Islamic Resistance Movement aspires to the realisation of Allah's promise, no matter how long that should take. The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said:
Quote:"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).

I have my doubts an criticism to the Hadith as a whole, and I don't care frankly except about 1 thing: "if they defy the Quran then they are my enemies"; if they begin to murder, pillage and slaughter and corrupt in the land, then they are my enemies.

But truth be told; Palestinians were left to rot by the whole world, but Hamas fought for them. And they proved that they aren't ISIS or even close. I wish they never follow the path of ISIS or Al Qaeda.
