The doctor added a new one yesterday that I am supposed to take on an empty stomach four times a day. I also have another one that I take twice a day, also to be taken on an empty stomach. Then there are my heart meds and my much loved Prozac. I have six pills I have to take on an empty stomach and the new one can't be taken within two hours of any other medication. The problem is this...the new med has to be taken two hours after any food and also after any other meds. It also has to be taken two hours before any other meds. That means no meds for 16 hours a day other than four of those. (two hours before and two hours after four different doses) On top of that there is another one I am to take on an empty stomach morning and night....but I can't take it within that four hour window of the new med. So it really isn't 16 hours a day but is 17? I get the vitamin thing but A, D, E, and K are best taken with food as they are fat soluble. I am supposed to take D and I take K because I bruise if the wind blows a little too hard. In between all this I am supposed to squeeze in other meds and vitamins. I finally contacted the doctor's office who basically said the pharmacy was wrong and to just take the damn stuff. Now, other than the handful of pill multiple times a day, I can at least eat and fit all of them into one day. This isn't a forever thing (hopefully). But what a pain in the ass. I take one of the new pills before I go to sleep and one when I wake up and then try to figure the rest the best I can. (August 4, 2024 at 8:52 am)Silver Wrote: Been changing my avatar. Snipped some more of my hair off; planning on letting it all grow out again.

Watching US recession fears tank the market.

I would like to be upstairs laying out a couple quilts, one I need to finish before my Midwest tour. But after nearly knocking myself out and cutting my head open last week, husband says not to do that unless he's home. So, instead, I am just wasting time.
He either wants to be here when I try to kill myself (unintentionally) or he doesn't want to come home and find me laying in a pool of my own blood. Not sure which. If the dogs really loved him they'd save him some stress and lick up the pool. I have wondered how long I'd remain an intact corpse with Lexy around, especially if I was blocking the fridge.

Face-eating dog!
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
I had to protect my head at night because Harley was determined to lick at the wound and dried blood. I have a feeling she would lap up the mess while Ziggy laid near me trying to be supportive. Quinn won't go upstairs. He'd be laying at the bottom of the stairs wondering if anyone was ever coming back.
Dealing with a summer cold. Hate it. Hate being sick.
