It's a lot when you think about how many episodes are in the seasons.

A far cry from the eight or ten you get now with shows.

Yeah, did a search. I thought they shortened the seasons sooner, but they're still long until season seventeen which only goes to seventeen episodes. Why was I thinking they had shortened the seasons?

It's a long way to get through it all. I got to where I enjoyed some of the characters enough to get me through the recurring themes of love lost, deaths, near-deaths, etc. There were times it was pretty easy to see the plots from a mile away. I just think I would try to live differently if my life was on the line as often as some of the characters.
