Make believe then

Yup. If God is real in the sense that it exists as a Platonic Form, there is no valid reason to disbelieve in faeries, pixies, Daleks, unicorns, giants, Vulcans, direct democracy, or honest lawyers.

How did your godthing come to exist and become living?

1. He didn't "come to exist" but rather has always been.

2 A. He became "living" (in a materialistic sense) when he was conceived within Myriam by the Holy Spirit and born of flesh and blood.
   B. He always was "living" in the sense that He *is* life - as the wellspring which pours itself out to give life and breathes it's life into others must itself be living.

If the materialistic interpretation is real you are just choosing to believe that every random stimuli that darts into your eyes, sends shivers down the neurons, and every chemical reaction in your body is "real."

That is truly a world of make believe if I have ever heard of one - I cant even confirm it exists outside of myself, and I cant trust myself to confirm it because I am told that my mind is not "mine" but rather just chemicals, natural reactions and stimuli reacting in a variety of ways.

Gotta love it when theists confuse imaginative concepts for reality.
