I'm not offering salvation...for the sake of argument the Creator could be a scientist in another universe.

Sure they do.
On the ‘fine tuning’ thingy, have you considered that it could simply be a happy accident? Suppose the universe evolved to support life incidentally. Out of a billion skillion universes, at least one was bound to reach a point where life-as-we-know-it could thrive. It’s a logical leap to presume that it was intentional.

That's not evidence. At best, it's a god of the gaps fallacy.

Your religious dogma forces you to call them bad persons, just because they think differently from you. Your religious faith makes it impossible for you to accept even the possibility that they are rational and intellectually honest people.
Your religion has left you with zero tolerance of accepting competing ideas other than those you perceive to be the base of your religion.
