What about antiheroes? I love antiheroes. In fact, my November book revolves around a bad character fighting three other bad characters. He's not really evil. He's just not good. Oh, and by bad I mean bad all around. I'm sure my characters suck. RE: Writers: if you're not Judeo-Christian, chances are you suck.

Sometimes here are good guys and bad guys in real life, so is real life 'framed in a judeo christian frame work' or is he talking shit. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. And, come to think of it, so did Patrick Susskind.

I was wondering why my stories always sucked. Now I know it's not because I don't have any talent.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Rev Rye, I freakin' loved "Perfume." I actually just suggested it to a friend - both as a book and as a movie. Did you see the movie?
