People say Paul is a STRICT constitutionalist, yet he doesnt even know the establishment clause, or what it means. He says "no theocracy", yet he fully supports the government making legislation based on religion. That is a blatant flip-flop. He has said over and over he doesnt believe in the seperation of church and state. He believes there is a war on religion in America. He supports creationism watering down class time in biology class.

Maybe I can speak for most of us, but I doubt many atheists supported Ron Paul in the first place enough to vote for him, they may like an issue or two he may be for but you need to get over it like the rest of his avid fans... Ron Paul is not winning the republican vote and he would not have turned anything around or turned things in some magical direction. More like preaching to the choir in my case. I don't give a damn about the letter personally. He may well be a racist or at least be pandering for their vote. But even if that isn't true I wouldn't vote for the guy.

All I need to know is he is for cutting away what little safety net exists for the average Joe and for even more deregulation which will only ship more jobs over seas. His policies would have the effect of further shrinking the middle class.
