THE STORY: in 1953,when I was 6, I was given a black beanie (no visor) with a propellor on the top. It was from Canada, unavailable in Australia, and I loved it!

There was a big boy (he was 10) who lived across the road. He used to bully me. He took my beanie and cut it up with a pair of scissors.I was very upset. My sister, who was 3 at the time,never forgot. When she saw the hat last year,she bought it for me,to replace the one I'd lost. I cried when she gave it to me.

Adelaide is Latitude 34.933 South

Yeah, I'd think your summer would be more like Texas or Arizona. Dry and hot. We're wet and slightly less hot. I would prefer the former. Sometimes I feel like I could drown from the humidity in the air, haha.

That's Tom, my androgynous cousin. He's 50. Began transitioning MtF at one point, but stopped before her breasts got past negative A. Has been married to a woman at one point, and "married" to a man at another (both were something like 8 year relationships).

Really fun to chat with. Great at what he does (hairstyling).
