Do you understand context? I said in an earlier post you don't have to like her, but if you value YOUR OWN FREEDOM, we are talking about the government of Indonesia bowing to the threats of theocratic zealots.

The person banned could be anyone for any reason based upon the objection of those nutcases. No one is asking you to like Ga Ga. But you should value the CONCEPT that utopian dickhead fuckwads should not be able to bully others into bowing to their insecurities. ON ANY TOPIC.

Pluralism in the west did not grow by bowing to those who want taboos and use threats to set them up.

It seems to me that this whole issue revolves around the "right" for people to be able to upset and annoy other people as much as they like, claiming that the person upset is the one with the problem. For example, "Hey, if we wanna fuck in the supermarket while waiting in the checkout we will! Its the fucking prudes in the line who got the problem!" attitude. It becomes a matter of where the line is drawn within each society. If american/europeans are quite happy to have semi naked, attention seeking, deliberately provocative halfwits filling a culture void in teenage youth that's fine, but we should respect countries who don't want that.

Difference is that a couple fucking in the supermarket would be forcing their debauchery on others. A concert is an event you can choose to attend. Anybody who doesn't want to see it doesn't have to.
