I was lucky, my husband and I were having the "when should we try to have a baby" debate when I found out I was pregnant with our oldest. After 8 years on the Pill, I might add, and I hadn't taken antibiotics or herbal supplements and took my pill religiously at the same time every day. Moral of the story: Babies can happen, even if you're careful (and you won't know your due date). He ended up being born about the time we were planning to start trying, so it worked out. And I'm proud to say that my second son was the first planned pregnancy in my family that I'm aware of.
But I'd also add that no matter how "ready" you are to have a baby... I don't think there is such a thing as 100% ready, even with second or third kids.

Yeah, my sister always said, there's never a good time to have a baby, so if you want one, just go for it and fix your schedule afterwards
Her 'second' baby was planned (just as the first one), but then "Surprise, motherfucker!" she was pregnant with twins
On that note, babies grow up so fast. Mr. Blue and Mr. Green turned three quite recently and I was invited to their party:
It's impossible to get a good picture of all three at the same time
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Great idea. I think I would keep them color coded like that. They all look the same age. Who is the fox holding them?

Yeah, Mr. Red is the oldest, he's four. Blue and Green are identical twins, Blue being the older one, but many have thought them to be triplets. The fox would be my older sister

You could try doing what we do with houndies. Get their attention with a squeaky lure, and then throw it at them so they are all looking in the same direction.

That's me many moons ago in my chair, that's Paul with the lighter fluid, and the white shapes on the floor are the flames that eventually engulfed my chair.

There were supposed to be more photos, but when the firework (Banger) that was taped to the bottom of my chair went off and all the petrol burst into flame, everyone panicked and legged it.
