Wouldn't it be crazy if homosexuality developed (in the evolutionary sense) as a way to combat over-population?

Interestingly enough, I've seen a few people attempt to tackle this one. In this video, they start to go into it, although it can be boiled down to 'you're gay because your mom is a slut.'

I also think there's something else worth mentioning that should piss a lot of Christian fundamentalists off: if there is a strict genetic link to homosexuality, then homosexuals are reproducing because instead of going out and having sex with the same sex, homosexuals are repressing themselves, getting into straight relationships, getting married and having children. If nobody was encouraging them to repress their sexual desires, this wouldn't happen.
