I'm not sure I understand your comment about resolutions...as far as I am aware, none of the MacBooks have High Definition screens. My 13 inch has a standard 1280 x 800 display.

Well I was told doing graphic designing and stuff like that is best on a mac because the pixel clarity or something along those lines is way better then what you get off a normal monitor. The images display a lot better.

I apologize I don't know the proper explanation for it. I will go look it up, though. Smile

Mac clearly has a better monitor for photo editing. I know that cause I have both and my mac wins hands down.

You can spend a fortune on PC hardware too if you want. Mac don't have a monopoly on quality, they just have a monopoly on insisting you use a limited set of hardware some of which is of good quality. This was their downfall: It's easy to make software work on a limited set of hardware.

So the question is usually one of how much you want to pay. With a PC you can choose to up the quality of components that would suit your need/s.

Well I went to Best Buy to check out both and now I'm typing this on my new macbook pro 13in. The 18 months, same as cash sold me. I just can't do a PC.....I can't. Thanks for the helpBig Grin

Also, the Macbook wheel looks incredibly stupid. I don't see how it simplifies anything. I hate trying to type something on my ipod, it takes forever. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. I hate it so much it makes me angry. Grr! >0
