Yet you still claim it's true.
The sheer delusion of atheism is uncanny. How the deluded stay delued. You gotta love the atheists. As you were.
If a species could evolve into another species fast enough for it to be captured on video, that would disprove the theory of evolution. You are so ignorant that you think evidence that would disprove evolution would prove it. If I misunderstood evolution as badly as you do, I wouldn't believe it either.
PS: Props to Tib, I now see that he beat me to this particular criticism.

You accept evolution but are in Islam? I guess that is some sort of start. Or do you merely use that user name because people think you are Muslim?
If you are than proceed reading. If not, then it should be read by the Muslims who might read the following.
Ok, here is the thing. The only provable thought we can find is within biological evolution, so that kinda puts a damper on claims of Allah as well. Science does not point to non material thinking beings by any name.
And please, I am being fair to you. There is a huge difference between human rights, and the ability to demonstrate a claim. So if you do literally believe in Allah, I'd suggest you look in the mirror yourself and not point fingers at others.
So keep in mind this is merely a suggestion to you. And former Muslim Ayaan Hersi Ali left Islam and she probably had the same love for it at one time as most Muslims do.
I'd suggest you understand why you reject the god claims of others to understand why atheists reject Islam as well. The only difference between a believer and an atheist is that we reject one more god than you do.
But also remember, no atheist I consider sane is interested in the least in oppressing the rights of others through law. This is merely a debate.

I am sorry, but merely saying "I used to be" does not constitute Islam being the one true religion, nor does it make Allah the one true god.
I'd speculate that you fell for some pseudo quack in Islam who is not a scientist or is a scientist but doesn't care to be honest enough or ethical enough to separate religion from science.
It is true religious people can be scientists. But the ethical ones do not mix their religion with science. So however you got conned, I would be angry at them for doing that to you.
I expect to follow some apologist link. Oh and Christians also try to mix science with religion too.
Give it your best shot if you wish. But please remember, many of us have been doing this for years. I have myself 12 years of online debate experience and run into all sorts of people from all the major religions who try to mix science with religion to conveniently point to their personal predilections.

How do you reconcile faith based creation narratives with empirical observation based science? If you don't mind me asking?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Heads up. "I accept evolution.......but the Koran says". At least that is where he will have to end up eventually.
And again, failing to realize that Christianity has been trying this tactic for 75 years or more.
