lol... did you think that I was claiming to be the god of the Bible??? You must've not read the OP.

The jewish/christian/muslim god (and all three are one in the same) is just another incarnation of a human's need to have meaning in their life.
I must admit, if I had known that humans were going to have such a powerful need for some existential meaning in life I would've modified the evolutionary process better. Live and learn.

I have another intelligent species evolving many galaxies from here and I have done just that. Hopefully my modifications will pan out. They seem to be moving along nicely, but we'll just have to wait a few thousand years to see.

It's bizarre to me too... not that I see a reason to modify that which is just because I think it's weird, or to 'improve' it.

My interest is just curiosity. If you built a perpetual energy machine, would you not check in on it every once in awhile? I don't get involved with their lives.
