Yeah. I consider myself lucky that she's still around. She went with my ex when we split, and she came to live with me a couple of years ago, severely overweight from being fed too much crap. She's down to a healthier weight and getting around very well for her age, especially considering she doesn't hear or see very well.

Hopefully she'll have another year or so of good quality life. I'm not quite ready to let go yet.

Time to go wipe my eyes.
