One of the lowest things I ever read about

One of the lowest things I ever read about
Quote:A crematorium in Germany has fired an employee for amassing a kilogram of gold teeth and fillings that he sifted from the ashes. Three other workers are also under investigation. The establishment has installed a CCTV camera to discourage pilfering.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Wow.. That was pretty low!
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Agreed.

But only 1kg?

I don't know, maybe it's just me but I don't get what the big deal is. I wouldn't want to do that because sifting through dead people's ashes is pretty off putting to me, but if you got the stomach for it why not? All they were were gold fillings from teeth. I could understand if this guy was digging up bodies and stealing family heirlooms. But you just burnt grandpa to ashes, I don't think it matters if you take his leftover fillings.

Personally, I just don't care what happens to me when I'm dead. The morticians could give me a handy j for all I care, I'll be dead.

The leftover fillings remain part of the estate, taking it for your own use is no different from digging up a grave to pillage in secret merely because the relatives of the dead is unlikely to actually ever check if everything interred with the deceased is still there.

That's just plain wrong.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

What exactly are the crematorium's legal obligations with things such as this?

I guess the corpse technicaly belongs to the family.

Except the corpse had no family.

Or the corpse decided to belong to someone esle before it became a corpse.

Or the corpse stands up, walks arround and starts eating people.
