You do know that Americans from the South in the US pride themselves on being descended from Scottish-Irish people, right? That's akin to saying we are descended from nobility and some kind of intellectual rebellion against the English.

Scottish "Ancestry" means nothing. My father is Scottish and I'm still "Fucking English" and an "English Cunt" to Scottish people. Mostly because being from England makes me English, it's kinda how these labels work.
