I've seen a few, but nothing recently. Some of the more memorable were: Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun, Bastard!, Hellsing, and Ghost in the Shell. I know I delved into a few others after that, but they didn't leave as big an impression on me. I think Elfen Lied was the last one I actually sat down and watched all the way through. I would usually find the associated Manga, so I remember Rurouni Kenshin was much better than the animated show. The Samurai X prequels were...well...boring and depressing, even though the art style was cool.

I remember a lot of boring. Very soon they all became snooze fests, and my attention span became much different as I grew older. (Admittedly, I suppose I could never rightfully enjoy even one episode of Dragonball Z).

I dunno'. I prefer anime to american television any day. People think Dexter and Breaking Bad are deep? lel.

But yeah, Samurai X never again. Oh, god, the voice acting. Please, make it stop.

Deep does not have to be a factor in a show that's interesting and entertaining. American tv realizes this and banks on it. I have to say there are many times where it's easier to get into an entertaining show than it is to fully understand all the moving parts in FLCL.

Also started watching a series called 'BTOOOM!'

I really like this one. It hits close to home for me.
