Being a southerner or a proud one has nothing to do with being racist. Racism has to do with one's attitude towards others that are not like them. Perfect example is when republicans continue to use racist stereotypes in referring to others who are not white.

I think Zimmerman is racist. I think Martin was racist. I know that continuing to point those facts out keeps racism alive. That was my entire point. I apologize for lashing out at you personally and for calling you a racist. I am sorry. I was just very upset by your comment regarding a 'white' escaping your old 'hood' without being assaulted and stolen from by 'blacks'. Your comment, while possibly correct, still reflects and propagates the racial stereotypes that were directly responsible for this, and all racially motivated crimes. Perhaps I should have simply asked you to choose your words more carefully when making threats on others (i.e. your 'hood' threat). It was a threatening comment.

Well I scored perfect on my Reading Comprehension when I did my entrance exams for graduation school.

Following someone does not cause a fatality. Physically assaulting someone who is armed does though.

Zimmerman did not cause the fatality. Trayvon caused the fatality. By being overly aggressive and violent.
