Measles Outbreak at Vaccine-Denying Church
RE: Measles Outbreak at Vaccine-Denying Church
Everyone who enlists or commissions serves their country in his or her own way. They all make up the sum of the whole, and I can't think of one function that's not in some way necessary for mission success. I guess according to Drich I'm just a d-bag though because I haven't been down in the thick of things. I mean, sure I'm saving lives by listening in and jamming enemy comm networks, but since I'm not down in the action, I must be the biggest asshole to think I'm worthy of the title of "Veteran".

Those weren't actors, brainiac. When actual relief workers pose for a picture, that doesn't make them 'd-bags'.

You're the epitome of the guy who keeps digging when he sees he's in a hole.

Seriously? Read what I wrote again.

Could you imagine a bank agreeing to loan you money by telling them that the proof that you are able to repay the loan will be you repaying the loan? No?

I guess now we know why Christians were originally forbidden from the moneylending trade.
Funny you should mention that. Because that is exactly how I got the 25k to start my business. I was asked by a man who I met in passing once before (who owned an ice company I was servicing) could I manage my own company if given the oppertunity. I said yes, then the guy asked me could I pay him back if he gave me a loan? I said yes. The next day 3rd time I ever met the guy he wrote me a check. I paid him back with in a year.

which is my point. God offers to personally interact with you. To teach you Himself. To write on your heart what is written in scripture. So that when someone asks you a question about God you can answer first in such a way, as to later look it up and find it written the same way.

I've only read the bible through maybe once over the course several years. I do not even remember 1/2 the OT, but in certain instances I have quoted from it and not even know it. It wasn't till I was challenged and I was made to go back and look for supporting material did I find the quote.

Quote:And what is this philosophy of emptiness of which you speak? I know not to what you are referring.
that after life there is only emptiness. No God.

Which one? (Which camp?)

What was it written on? Looks like stone? Do you know what the penalty was for spreading Jewish propaganda (writting anything down in a camp) was? So, why would they spend hours carving this? What was used as the red pigment? What was used for the black? How did a prisoner who was stripped of all of their belongings come across a sharp instrument to first inscribe in what looks like stone, and then take the time to color it? And why was so much time put into writting it in a language that no one at the camp could read? (Remember the guards are German and most of the prisoners are Jewish/polish or even Germans themselves, not English.) also why was so much time taken to mimic Hebrew characters? Especially when no one would be able to read this message?

Oh and the most important question you should have asked is what is fbcdn.net??? Because they are the Internet tracking company how appearently create stupid crap like this to see how many anti God people are so desperate to hate God, that they are not willing to ask any of the basic question I posted above, just so they can mindlessly cut and paste their propaganda to speak/think for them.

But all of that aside, good job missy, thanks for chiming in.

Umm Drich, it's painfully obvious that that "carving," as you call it, is simply a computer font placed onto a background. I mean seriously, how stupid are you? Notice how all the repeating letters are exactly the same? All missluckie said was that this phrase (gem) was written on a concentration camp wall. She never said that was the actual picture of the actual words. It could have easily been written in the German or Polish languages. It could have easily been written with a stone or even a pencil for that matter, and although it would be difficult to prove, it would certainly not be unreasonable to believe that a group of humiliated, tortured and murdered jews would feel that exact sentiment. I imagine there were a LOT of pretty angry jews in those camps, many of which I'm sure could've felt very betrayed by their chosen deity. Regardless, you are not an expert on anything and your indignation about the obvious computer generated graphic only makes you look like more of a fucktard.

All that being said, if your god does exist he does indeed owe the human race an apology. The horrific deeds he has committed and the unreasonable burdens he has placed on the tiny peons he created makes him the most evil being ever to exist. If he actually existed, he may have the might, but he does not have the right. Even if the phrase isn't legit, he definitely would owe us all an apology.

Thankfully, he is no more real than the other 3000+ gods in existence and I won't be asking for any such thing.

But hey, you keep up the good fight for your god here on this internet site. Apparently jesus needs D-bags to watch the internet for him.

I was hoping someone would bite.

Do you see yourself as a combat veteran? Do others who are/were in direct line of fire see you as a combat veteran? Do you repersent yourself to combat veterans as being a fellow combat vet?

Of you can answer yes then what is your gripe?

If you answered no then again what is your gripe?

I do not care how you served, or even if you did. The point being made is that there is a distinction well with in the ranks of our military that separates combat vets from 'support troops.' And even a further seperation from army regulars and Rangers. Army, from marines. marines from navy, navy from Air Force, and national guardsmen from just about everyone else. If you are truly military you know what I am talking about, and you know there has been a lot of infighting about who does what and how the military would come to a grinding halt and millions of people would die if not for their job/branch. Again not what is being discussed.

What is being discussed are the posers who take pics behind tall concrete walls obviously in a rearward operations base, and repersent themselves are being troops under fire. If it is meant as a joke then that's fine, that is between them and the members of their platoon. If not and they were saying that they were combat troops when they were not, anyone who has anything to do with this country should take offense to that. Because these men are pretending to be something they are not.

So because it could have happened it did happen? ..and you know this how? Faith? Or do you have the proof I was looking for? Oh, that's right you only need proof for all things God. You are willing to believe any possibility out there that says there is no God or that a particular person hated God on blind faith alone.

Yeah uh, I made that one Drich. For another thread. Nice breakdown, it took five minutes and I made the red with the paintbrush in photoshop.

As for the quote itself, it's from the Mauthausen internment camp. Admittedly it's word for word quote is this:

"If there is a God, he will have to beg my forgiveness."

My bad. I was merely trying to portray the meaning of the original sender, didn't know I'd be hounded to the details about what cell block it was in. Block C, by the way.

"I believe in god, even when he is silent" also carved into the wall of that same concentration camp. That separate but whole poem is quite depressing, actually.

Any reply about the rest of my post or we just going to ignore that happened?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Hey D-bag, I'd like to point out that you, without even knowing where the quote was physically located or even being able to recognize a computer graphic over the real thing, decided it didn't exist because it didn't fit with your own worldview. Maybe you should stop acting like you have a fucking intellectual leg to stand on, here. If anyone's employing faith here, it's you, but I guess believing one sided nonsense is sort of wound around the core of your being, isn't it?

And while we're at it, can the "you all just hate god" crap, you trembling waif.

Oh, and by the way, I notice that you focused in on the inscription itself, maybe to divert attention away from the fact that my dear Luckie's own personal experience proves you wrong on your broad, offensively general "there ain't no atheists in foxholes" shtick? Perhaps you'd like to do the honest thing and retract that, upon being given verifiable proof that it's wrong?

No atheists in foxholes, eh?

Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers Wrote:Atheists in Foxholes, in Cockpits, and on Ships

MAAF maintains a roster of Atheists in Foxholes, just in case there are any rumors that we don't exist. The next time you hear someone repeat that old myth, just send them here to see how atheists have served honorably in combat - always have, always will.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

You're damn right. Who cares what Drich thinks anyway.

I worked my ASS off. Back to back 8 month deployments on the flightdeck in support of OEF and OIF. We were trolling around The Persian Gulf and the Ariabian Sea, 14 hr work days with not a single day off, up to 90 consecutive days without seeing land. 160 degree heat index, long sleeve shirts drenched in sweat and arms worn raw from locking arms under bombs and throwing them up on jets to be dropped in support of ALL our boys, not just Americans, but everyone sucked into the same fight. Over 40 Aircraft blowing high temp exhausts around only 4.5 acres of deck. I've seen catastrophic disasters ranging from limbs being ripped off to decapitations. I don't know what Drich calls that, and really, I don't know what to call it either. But I do know that anyone worried about giving it a title doesn't know a fucking thing about what it means to have done it. Here's some pictures if anyone cares to see...

People can call it whatever they want. I really don't give a shit.

Drich, you judgemental prick...please hasten your departure for the pearly gates so you can be judged your damned self. You know who gets to talk shit about REMF's in the field? Not you, you pompous wannabe ghost talker, hiding safely behind two oceans and a 'puter screen. You just shat all over the one organization that insures your retarded drivel can be spewed unimpeded...and I don't mean your fucking tax dodging church. When you call soldiers douche bags, with contempt, you done fucked up, ass wipe. Mess with the bean, get the burrito, Holmes. I don't give a rat's happy ass if it's Sgt. Suzy Secretary from the AF Reserve. You, sir, owe your life, liberty and pursuit of damning others to those in uniform, past, present and future. An apology should have been a foregone conclusion, but I bet you can't unwedge your inflated head from your colon long enough to try.

What fucking gall you have.
