Hi, all!
My road to deconversion started about 5 years ago. I was a "born-again" christian who went thru all the prescribed stages. To be fair, I believed all that stuff and tried to live accordingly. The change started when I became dissilussioned with the church I "worshipped" at. A call was made one Sunday for a special collection to fund a new youth wing. This bothered me because just that morning on the drive to church, I saw homeless people. It didn't make sense to spend millions on a new building when the money could be better spend helping people in need!
This compelled me to leave the church and once this happened, I started thinking for myself.
This was the start of a new life. The feeling of freedom and wonder which I experienced then is still with me to this day!
