Not Texas. I'm leaving Texas and going back to Alabama.

It's a deck. The screened porch is the smaller area to the right with the outdoor kitchen.

Planning Halloween costumes for my kids! I love Halloween! As a kid I never dressed up in a costume, since that would be celebrating a satanic ritual, hence my kids have a Halloween crazy mom who takes it to a whole other level. Scary decorations galore! Costume shopping extravaganza! Halloween parties palooza! Rawr!

Looking forward to the Redskins/Dallas game tonight. It will be my truly first "hang out with buds" game. My friend Bob from Australia and my friend from Denver, will watch the game on tv while we all talk on Skype. Ironically they are both not into football. But what makes this special is that they are doing it for me, but they also like listening to me blow my top (not in a serious way). But if the Redskins lose(my team) it will be entertainment for them. Like watching a Luis Black clip.

I cant sleep. And like always when I cant sleep I end up doing weird things to make the time go bye.

Like cleaning the kitchen at 11 pm and shaving off my beard.

Just ate. The succubus made carne picada tacos with home made pico and whack-a-moley. I'm stuffed. Smells like a vampire's daymare in here from the copious amount of garlic used, but it's small price to pay.

These book clubs and groups usually limit discussion to two hours. It was three hours in and they were still going strong. I actually got about 5 hours sleep last night. I had anticipated it taking 10 hours to read the book, but I finished in half that.
(And yes, the sake did put me down prematurely, but I got up after 2 hours of sleep and pressed onward.)

I've got some work to do before bed, but for now I'm just gonna be a slug.

Change of plan. I'm at Davanni's for a sausage and anchovie calzone. New England is on the big screen.

Crockpotting some spanish chorizo with cabbage, carrots and onions. In water, soy sauce and sugar, to hopefully contrast with the paprika in the sausage.

No clue what I am doing. Don't every say yes if I invite you over for dinner.
