I found truth in coming to an awareness that Christianity is a scam perpetrated on humanity, and I did so using a reasonable approach (testing what I could demonstrate based upon experience - not unlike you do in reaching your own conclusions).

So they, like Christians showed you a "different" way? The True way? But, you used "experiences"? Interesting.

No. the prayer is for the "LIES" to be silenced. Any words against Jesus are LIES.

I don't know. The bulbs in my house need a hand when being changed. I usually do it for them.

You asked if Jesus being nailed to the cross was enough for me (more like it's enough to make me hate the story more). My response turns the question back to you. For if indeed Jesus being nailed to the cross were enough for you (persecution according to your analogy, and saying nothing about redemption), you'd need not even be here on this forum defending his delusional lies.

@ronedee,

Why are you even here?

This is how it looks in context.

Atheists are not interested in making other people atheists.

You are always free to disagree with me Ivy, but I think making others into atheists as a goal detracts from the role a bit. I am interested in seeing others come to atheism naturally, as a process of evolving, but to hope to sway them at an undue time would be futile and counterproductive.

No, I'm here because I care about my fellow-humankind, and I like keeping abreast of the divisions I hope to one day be a small part of bridging.
