Thanks! Once I decided to do it, it was like I just couldn't wait! My hairdresser didn't have time for me for a couple of days, and it was all I could do to hold back from doing it myself... that would have been a disaster!

I need to get my hair trimmed and shaped again and I've been holding off in case I do want to take the plunge.

My boyfriend keeps telling me I should, but I suspect that's only because of his fetish for Zooey Deschanel. [rolling eyes]

I have to say, I looked at a "before" picture, and man, did I look old! Getting bangs shaved ten years off. Stoked.

I thought guys were generally annoyed by Zooey Deschanel... huh. You're cuter than she is, IMO.

Thanks. I assume she's his "not that smart but she's really cute" guilty pleasure. I suppose I'm the same about Shia LaBeouf. I'm not proud of it, but whatever.

My hair is really fine so the decision has to be tempered with "will they stay styled or will I just be using a shit-ton more bobby pins?"

Mine's curly and fine, so I'm actually gonna have to style my hair daily, which is definitely not something I'm used to, but it's fun to do something different.

Nice! I had bangs for a long time, only my hair was black. I enjoyed them. You look fabulous, rex! I want some of that beer, woman!

Actually, San Diego is in my plans for three weeks from now, so... I finally get to take you up on your beer tasting offer.
