Good lord, just try to find out the effects of homosexuality on lifespan (in the west), google it, I dare you. I was expecting to find that it was a few years lower, what with the higher rates of suicide and what have you, but I'm not able (well, unwilling to exert myself to the extent that would be required) to find the answer.

Correlation =/= causality. One might as validly state from that data that shortened life span causes homophobia.

1st: good.
2nd: BS to any causal connection. There's obviously another correlation in there. You didn't mention, for example, temperament; obviously, someone who angers easily at trivial issues is going to have elevated stress levels which could explain the correlation.

This is right. No causation has been established- only correlation . I would suggest that lower lifespan and Homophobia are both symptoms of another, as yet unidentified cause but I may well be wrong.
If we are to be rational, logical people we have to look at theories objectively.
Some may call them junk, I call them treasures.
