Now most people have the atheist's so called "evidence" at the click of a button and STILL it hasn't convinced most people (I don't even KNOW an open atheist in real life).

Eratosthenes calculated the circumfrence of the Earth two centuries before Christ with only a 2% error compared to modern measurement. You could have found this with a couple button clicks.

I don't need to, I have FAITH!

So no, you didn't, and by your own standard for evidence your deity fails. But you really want there to be a god so you think there is. Thanks for contributing absolutely nothing worthwhile to this discussion forum.

Faith is the biggest cop out ever. All faith is, is believing in something without evidence. If you had evidence for your beliefs, you wouldn't need faith.
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech

Please just open up your heart to Christ, it will all begin to come to you.

Since non-believers are the ones who usually read about science, they'll often just ignore what an openly Christian scientist says as "creationist propaganda". Bullshit! Bull-fucking-shit!

You have no evidence of this claim, at all. You are proposing a system in which thousands of scientists across multiple disciplines are concealing the truth, despite the fact that presenting actual evidence of creationism would net them millions of dollars from creation "science" organizations, and nobel prizes, for no reason at all, despite the fact that such evidence would advance their careers immensely.

And hey, I thought according to you the majority are christian? Wouldn't that mean that all you christians would need to do is start reading scientific materials, and it would be safe for the christian scientists to show off the truth? Shame on you guys for not doing that! Rolleyes

RE: Are we scientists?
Seriously, JesusLover1, your posts demonstrate a blinding level of ignorance: of common debating points, of scientific literacy, of intellectual honesty, of rational discourse...

It's possible that you're not used to the type of abrupt replies that your posts might cause so please take this advice as it's meant to be helpful to you: please try to form your arguments more coherently or you might find that people will simply dismiss you (hint: it's starting to happen already).

Isaiah was Old Testament!

So then you admit that the Bible wasn't written or inspired by God, unless you are now going to claim that God didn't know that the Earth was an oblate spheroid when the OT was written.

Telling a Christian to read scientific materials is like asking an atheist to read the Bible.
