Well like peanuts that also can harm someone, there should be a warning on the product, and people can make up their own mind if they want it or not. With vaccines parents are made to feel they have to do it or their some type of monster if they don't.

Not the same.
There are large, in fact huge scale trials which show that vaccines are not a risk factor for mental illness.
And there is even more data that smoking is a strong predictor of lung cancer.
In simple terms, the danger is NOT there. The only danger, in fact, is from not vaccinating. Then there is a definite danger of Contracting a serious disease!
But how makes these findings, yes the very people who want you to be vaccinated, I think every free thinker knows that.

I actually got into an argument (also on FB) with a former schoolmate who was studying to become a nurse and who was passing along anti-vax stuff. I - and another of her friends - spent a lot of time posting studies refuting her shit (which consisted of one of those nice meme-style photos talking about the evils of Big Pharma/vax) with studies and sourced articles, and she eventually unfriended me.
Now, I know I can be a real asshole on this board, but I spent a good deal of time being VERY friendly to her trying to explain where she'd got it wrong, because if she was studying to be a nurse, I wanted her to actually take it into account.
It didn't much matter. It doesn't matter what approach you take with these people - when they want to keep their beliefs, they will cover their ears so they don't have to hear sense.

I did ask, and was not given an answer, only a defensive posture from her and her mum. The niece was vegetarian any way (Pilates instructor) and she has been like that most of her young life.
The 'video' was cited as the sole reason for going vegan. I am not privy to any more information, I just thought it was strange to base your life choices solely on some video on the internet.

Anyway, her choice, her body, her reasons. Why do people get all defensive because you question what they are doing and why? Sheesh, next time won't show any interest at all.

If you had any reasonable grasp of germ theory, you'd understand that it is monstrous to decide you won't vaccinate your kids against horrifying diseases despite mounds of evidence to do so.

Psycho, ever read the food labels? They will tell you if there are known allergens within. There is usually a note such as "Contains/may contain soy, dairy, gluten, nuts...etc."
Do some research; the benefits of vaccinating one's children and oneself greatly outweigh any perceived risks. Plus, if there is even the slightest chance that a child can develop autism from something such as the MMR vaccine (which has never been observed on a testable level), this kind of mental illness is vastly better (and manageable) than death. Yes, physical illness and death are real consequences from not getting vaccinated.
I don't really care what you think about if vaccines are right or wrong, all I know is that they were not meant for me, now get over it for Christ sake.

Because people don't seem to realize that in the case of disease, not vaccinating yourself and your kids puts yourself AND others at danger. It's not just about YOU.

Sorry if it seems we're coming on a bit strong. The thing is, this is not like smoking or eating meat which is a personal choice, this does affect everyone. People read stuff on forums like this and they use what they read when formulating their views. . It's a bit more complex than "live and let live"

Wrong. The 'people behind the research' (indicative of conspiratorial thinking!) are those who want to see reduction in human suffering due to illness; they are the research scientists, biologists, doctors, nurses, carers, families of those who've suffered and (yes!) the pharmacists (as if that were a bad thing!). That's what 'every' free-thinker knows.
