Not really! You see the work of trained doctors and scientists and go "nah, they can't be right," and dismiss their work due to some mysterious bias you refuse to explain, while I accept the findings of people who are trained to know what they're talking about.

Your completely baseless, blanket generalization that every medical researcher who doesn't get results you like is biased is not only completely ungrounded- because you don't know anything about these people- it's also borderline nonsensical; do you understand the kind of trouble a company would get into for releasing a medicine or vaccine that causes harm to people? To be clear, what you're saying is that these people release these products regardless of their overall safety; you're claiming that these products are out there now, hurting people now, and no scientist, across the entire world, is able to come to findings that can be replicated and peer reviewed successfully by mainstream science that confirms this.

Let us assume for a second that the polio vaccine you took did indeed cause your symptoms.

For me that's not the live debate. When I asked whether you believed the polio vaccine prevented polio, you hedged a bit and opined that it may carry some benefit.

Let's say for the sake of argument that we accepted that it DID prevent polio.

Do you think the risk of the symptoms you had is greater than the risk of getting polio?

And please don't go! It's good to be able to discuss things with a vaccine skeptic because it helps me to know what arguments you find unconvincing and which you feel have some merit.

Also regarding the "bias" of proper studies, you know Psycho, when one company comes up with a new vaccine, all the other companies, scientists, doctors, other medical staff, FDA and other similar organisations, WHO, and other intersted parties will thouroghly scrutinize the findings. If they don't add up, people will call the developers on their bullshit.

Only last year a couple of children were killed or became seriously ill from measles in Wales because the parents of those children thought there was too much risk from getting their children vaccinated.

You have decided to not to listen to them because you think they haven't done enough research.
