Well, if you aren't using Windows, we already know things are much more secure. Big Grin

In general, I'd say "no". But if you're in a position where you could lose your job, maybe you depend on parents and could get kicked out...well those are mitigating circumstances in which a "yes" would be acceptable.

It's all about what you are comfortable with. No one should force you to be out.

That depends on where I am. At home I run Ubuntu Linux, at work I work in Vista Business in an Active Directory network.

Absolutely not.

Though its not in my position to tell you what to do, you understand, but I think you'll agree that the only way to clear up any erroneous misconceptions people have about atheism is to actually talk about it, to confront and address the issue head-on until others understand you share the same values they do, the same humanistic values that we all hold dear and embrace in this life.

You cannot rely on die-hard theists understanding through honest enquiry what atheism is all about by themselves, a topic matter they have no initial interest in. If I hadn't admitted to being an atheist years ago and explained my position, my parents would still go around thinking atheists are ne'er-do-wells who 'believe in nothing'.

Cool, I run GNU/Linux as well. Fedora and sometimes Debian.

RE: Should I hide my atheism?
I still count myself as a Linux user, despite the fact I use Mac OS X now Tongue

To be fair though, I do have Linux running virtually, and this server runs it.
