I got a letter today from the council telling me that as a council tenant, I can get free Internet for a year, plus a free laptop or tablet. My Internet connection is on a contract I can't cancel for free, and I already have a laptop and a tablet, so I really don't need it. My Grandad received the same letter, so I'm trying to encourage him to take up the offer because I think he'd like the Internet!

Brewing coffee. I had an appointment with my vocational rehabilitation counselor this morning. Apparently, I have to do an "extended evaluation" where for four days a week, I do volunteer work and classes and junk to determine if I'm ready to work again. I haven't had to do anything that regularly since I was in the nursing home and had day treatment every day six years ago. Oh God, this is going to hurt. I was hoping it would be months before things heat up so that I could ease into it. No such luck!
