The latter.
In fact, I consider you to be inhuman, a veritable monster, who is addled with delusions that will unfortunately plague you until the day you die.

Still, is not 'normality' irrelevant the point you were *trying* to make?

1) She tells me.
2) She has spent roughly $600,000 on me in my lifetime, buying me food, clothing, caring for me when I'm sick, giving me money in college, buying me presents.
3) She has physically cared for me throughout my childhood and adolescence.
4) She supports me in many other ways.
5) She tells me.
Proving "love" exists and isn't some ethereal thing you want it to be, see http://hdi.msu.edu/docs%5CSwain%202011.pdf
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

And now you're having a go at *insanity*, man: what did insanity ever do to you?!

What do "we" think of the Catholic Church? Well, I don't know about you, but I think the Catholic Church is a great place for child molesters to hide themselves and be protected by a powerful institution.

Sure, love exists. It's also terrifying and has a way of, oh... blowing up.
"Don't be silly, it's not going to blow up!"
"PSSHHHH! *EVERYTHING* blows up."

Change isn't often easy. Many are creatures of some habit... they frequent stores, they are open for socializing on weekends, they brush their teeth at around the same times each day...
Probably... the greatest 'motivation' in remaining in an institution that one is used to being in... is that they don't really think about it.
Many of their friends (and family members) go to church, after all
True in some regards, but for me, it is because I realize the great mystery and treasure that awaits me in pursuit of the Faith.

It is time to reevaluate one's faith when it allows one to defend atrocities in its name.

Then what is a human to you? What does it mean to be truly human?

I feel the same way about writing and drawing serial killers into existence. Best of luck to you, mate
