Whoa, whoa, back up sonny.
I don't think any of this happy horseshit ever happened. That's for you jesus freaks.
This shit was invented much later on and put into the mouth of your fictional godboy by whatever unknown writers cobbled this shit together. You would need to ask the author to explain the fuckups. I'm just pointing them out.
Let's not pretend that any of this fucking nonsense ever happened or reflects any sort of reality shall we?

Does it matter?
The question is did ALL the prophesies come true. If not it's just coincidence.
The second coming didn't happen in Jesus' generation. Therefore, it's all bunk.

Let's not pretend that any of this fucking nonsense ever happened or reflects any sort of reality shall we? If so then your argument is self-refuting. You cannot assume a statement is true in order to argue against something, then later deny the truth of that statement and maintain any sort of logical integrity.

So, why do you think that the generation of whom Jesus was speaking to is the one He was speaking of? And why does the 'some here who will not taste death' refer to the 'generation who will not pass until all these things are fulfilled'?
If it could be proven beyond doubt that God exists...
and that He is the one spoken of in the Bible...
would you repent of your sins and place your faith in Jesus Christ?

Context.
Quote:And why does the 'some here who will not taste death' refer to the 'generation who will not pass until all these things are fulfilled'?
Because it makes sense in light of the explanation that Jesus believed the kingdom of God was imminent and that once it came, there would no longer be death.

Those verses prove that the law came from God, you are the one who needs to study scripture, how is it you can be so blind. Did you even read those verses?
GC
Galatians 3:19 (KJV) says: 19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
Ordained by angels = means that the angels came up with it and gave it to the dummy Moses. Now, since Satan was an angel and he had a third of them doing his bidding it's possible that his band gave the dummy Moses the Law. After all, they have the ability to pose as good guys. Remember, the Bible also says that God gave the dummies the Law to see if they were stupid enough to follow it and comply with all of the harsh penalties it demanded, such as tossing their babies into the fire.
Are you saying that you worship a being that commands you to toss your living babies into a roaring inferno to be burned alive? If so, that qualifies as some sick shit by 21st Century American morality.

Wait.
Are you saying that a bad guy with a commandment can fuck up a good guy with a commandment?

Well simply because the rest of us have a solid grasp on the English language and what the words that are written mean.
What you're saying is like Jesus holding up a speckled green fish and talking about the fish and describing it's color as speckled green and then when he's not around trying to tell everyone that he wasn't talking about the fish he was holding. I mean you can't really think that anyone with an ounce of intelligence is going to swallow this bit of horse shit you're attempting to sell can you???

Because when people say "this generation" they mean their own generation or at the very most the people living at the time "this generation" is said. There's no reason to believe Jesus meant anything different. No one from 30 CE is now living. They all died about 2000 years ago.
What other "this generation" might he have meant? And do you think the people he was speaking to thought he meant anything other than themselves?
Failed prophesy. Done deal.

Actually - A BIG ONE - told supposedly by the christ
He said that the way to tell a false Prophet who says something that does not come true - he should be ignored
The christ also said that there would be some people in his audience that would not die before he would return in GLORY -
Certainly his claimed resurrection had not glory - it did not fulfill the messiah prophecies - there is NOT a single mention of it in the historical record of that time - and such glory would be widely known and reported.
And today - there is NOT a single person from that era that is still alive
So the christ was a false prophet.
