Precisely what I did today, aside from swallowing sheep lmao
But, I did sit back and listen to the sermon. I took it as a learning experience, kind of had to before I freaked out on someone. They seriously do believe that without god, you're like old, dried out dirt.
They literally told the kids this story today. About how god planted seeds in a stony environment, a dry dirt environment and a rich soil environment. This guy described the dry, sandy dirt as someone who doesn't believe in god and doesn't do good things for him, he described the stony environment as someone who questions if there is a God, then the rich soil...yeah , That's where the Christians think they are.
Ironically, he was using plants as a reference in religion...wtf

Lol I'm sure they're going to spread. There was a lesbian who attended church with her girlfriend today. The one that was dressed more masculine came over and asked my name. I told her and she sat with me. She asked me why I was alone and where my husband was. I told her, "well, I'm Morghan. My fiance is currently at work and I'm Also here due to work." Then she asked why I was sectioning myself off and just sitting there alone. All, I explained (after getting her name) , "well, Sam, I'm actually an atheist but I come here for my client. She is schizophrenic and this seems to be the only place that gives her a Bit of relaxation, otherwise I would never be here."
Then we got into discussing what atheism really is and such. So, then I asked her if she's ever questioned her faith...really actually studied the Bible and tried to figure out WHY people turn away from religion..she stated she had but coming out gay was hard enough. So then she actually left with her girlfriend in the middle of the sermon and thanked me.
