The reason Lawrence Krauss to me is dumb is because he claims non-existence which doesn't even exist can split into two things. This was proven obviously false because that which does not exist can't do anything, can't cause anything and can't split into anything. Nature always exhibits causation from something.

The reason there are no billion bound gorillas stomping over NYC is because they don't exist so they can't cause anything. I think Krauss knows he is being belligerent. He gets off on it, perhaps making lots of money on the atheist circuit. He's probably having more fun doing that than his previously boring life and at least getting more attention.

But according to the Bible which has been proven to be true what's it worth to have all that entertainment yet go to Hell for rejecting Christ as his Lord and Savior for forgiveness of sins on the cross of salvation?

So, the Bible "has been PROVEN true," has it? Must be why there's only one religion in the world and everyone adheres to it without question.

Or, maybe it's just that MPCADF is a liar or an idiot or both.

There's a rather obvious naturalistic explanation: someone made the whole thing up.

That's not the way an epistemological dispute works.

The burden of proof remains on the party who makes the claim. You sir, claim there's a god.

Now you must prove it.

Build your case. Provide a clear positive ontology for the being you identify as 'god'.

Quote:We observe trillions of cause and effects in nature, and no hard evidence of something from nothing (that is, non-existence), so nature can't start up from nothing.
No one is claiming here that reality came from nothing. No one except you, that is.

Prove it.

Quote:Therefore, nature needs a cause outside of itself, outside of time and space, being uncreated.
SPECIAL PLEADING.

Quote:since only one religion can be true since God does not contradict Himself.
Another huge claim.

Prove it then. Which man-cult is the true one?

First you'll need to send me $250,000 in exchange for the deed to a house I have for sale that you can't see, or touch, until after your dead! It's worth it, though! The fountain of youth is in there, recently renovated so as to look like a hot tub, and the place's steward, Harvey The Rabbit, will stay on as your butler!

actually, this is not quite true. he turned something into nothing then back into something. Unless of course he did not follow the standard model. Which I doubt.

Let's not butcher the truth like MD is.

It was hardly meant to claim a truth, but to highlight an alternate hypothesis. Rather, I should have said, "Read Lawrence Krauss, he ATTEMPTS to turn your nothing into something."

At least there are dedicated physicists and cosmologists seeking the answers in the place of sitting on their hands and assuming "god did it". Let's hope to see better hypotheses in the future.
The gods offer no rewards for intellect. There was never one yet that showed any interest in it.

If he actually did pay that sum.

I'd refund it and report him to the mental health authorities.

A fool and his money are soon parted, but the insane need to be sectioned.
