Dunno why, but I keep reading this thread as if it matters. Also, it seems a bit stilted to hear a comedian worth £12 000 000 complaining about rich people. Dunno about the rest of you, but 12 million nicker comes off as fucking RICH to me.

Opinion polls put them neck and neck. Too close to say which way the vote will go.

The bit of our nuclear capability that is public knowledge, and I'm fairly sure that's not all of it, Is on submarines and they are pretty easy to move about. In fact there is always at least one Nuclear sub on patrol, so nobody really knows where our nuclear capabilities are at any given time.

You are partially right, subs do go on patrol however...Faslane is Home to our nuclear arsenal and it also happens to be fairly close to the largest city in Scotland.

Britian's only nuclear warheads are the ones on trident missiles fired from qthe 4 vangard class ballistic missile submarines. It is generally thought Britain currently has around 225 nuclear warheads, which is actually not enough to fully qall 4 vanguards. So the missiles are swapped between the trident class boats to ensure most of them are at sea. Of course one could always claim Britain cheated and has a stash of the hidden warhead somewhere else. But that is unlikely as Britain lacks means of delivering these warhead, and it is also not clear why one would hide one's warhead because hidden warheads has no deterrence value, and without deterrence value a warhead is of no national value whatsoever because Britain could not possibly survive any nuclear war which it failed to deter from involving Britain.

I saw one estimate that it would cost 9 billion pounds to relocate the infrastructure that currently support britain's vanguard class ballistic missile submarines.

Forgive my ignorance, here but the concerning myself white man's burden is not my primary 'to do' on my list. Let alone a fussy masher's problem from across the pond.

But, the more I read and the more this story clutters up my news reports the more and more I see a vast picture of inequality in (not so) great Britian.. The scots are second class citizens in their own country.. Wtf?

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-scot...s-20694453
Could you imagine the riots in America if we withheld health care to black people? Or the Hispanic community as the fussy mashers have to the scots???

http://www.esrc.ac.uk/_images/Inequality...-29182.pdf

Scroll down this one and look at the charts and graphs that show how (I'm dropping the term 'Great' from Britian from now on) ..how Britian has kept Scotland under it's thumb, financially, medically, and burdened with unfair taxes..

How can any who supports a government that so unfairly treats a whole nation of people, have weighed in on the social problems of America do so with out feeling like a hypocrite!?!?

How can you speak to the unfairness of How things are handled in the US when your own house is such a mess!?!
Maybe take the plank out of your own eye before you worry yourselves over the speck in ours.
