Maybe because I'm telling you what you know deep down is true and yet you deny it.

I hate how powerless I feel in this society. The bureaucracy has so much control over our lives. People are abusive, mean scum. I'm struggling with the fact that I have no power over others. It's like I'm under complete control and it makes me rage inside. I have no power to do the things I truly please to do. Everyone is so used to it they've become pathologically convinced that it's okay. It's not okay. I don't want to live this feeble life until I die. I don't want to be restricted by the boundaries of my own strength and intelligence. I am though and I shouldn't have to be.

You are aware that most every teenager goes through that feeling at some stage of their teen years, aren't you?

It'll wear off... you'll find something worth your while... you'll grow up.

In the mean time, it's best not to verbalize all that angst, as it may come back and byte you in the ass.

Like I give a shit. You're just afraid of what I say because it's like staring reality in the face. Which is why it makes everyone so mad.

Or we've just grown up and accept certain things we can't control and try our best to manage the things we can. Thats life, its not perfect, but there's plenty to be happy about. A modicum of maturity goes a long way.

And...no, reality doesn't 'make everyone so sad'. Reminds me of Mozart Link's bizarre fatalist fetish.

It's the price of living in a human society, at this present stage of development and with the visible complexity.
As you grow old, you either accept it and go on with your life, or sink into that angst which bytes you in the ass. Most people accept it and live... some even become a part of the bureaucracy, some make it increase...

If you prefer not to deal with that, then go live in an island by yourself.

Growing up. What a misleading word. What growing up to me means is becoming intelligent and understanding the world around me. What growing up to you means becoming a cog in a big machine. That's all that human beings are. Little cogs trying to work this mechanical, lifeless system of living we have. If people don't fit in, we hammer them in. If people die, they're replaced. If someone refuses to be a cog, we scorn them. We treat them like they're shit for not supporting the lie we call humanity. Humanity is an oxymoron as far as I'm concerned. There is nothing humane about the way we humans are forced to live our lives.

Well, if you are so utterly determined to be miserable, at least you're succeeding in that. Congratulations. Meanwhile, the rest of us will continue to enjoy life with our friends and loved ones.

The reason you have food on your table and a roof over your head every day is because of the cogs.

Fuck you. Just fuck you and everything about this statement. You're strawmaning my entire existence to "affluent", "well off". Fuck poor people. This is why I hate poor people. They're so ignorant. If you think money brings you happiness you are fucking mistaken. I despise my life. I have been told I am more negative than suicidal people. Yet I get mocked and ridiculed for having a life they they perceive to be superior to theirs. You people know fucking nothing about my life.
