My thoughts exactly, so why would someone surrender their lives for that? In The great state of FL not only do we have a stand your ground law, we have a defend your home law as well. Meaning anyone who is in your house that you did not invite, also forfeits their life/you are allowed to shoot no questions asked.
I wasn't sure if a locked screened in enclosure counted or not. Either way the cop was sloppy in his approach, and should have been focused on the task at hand rather than sizing up my propane tank. Maybe we both learned a lesson that night.

So last century. I heard in saudi Arabia they are so high tech they use electric shock collars to taser their women whenever they leave the kitchen. You libyans are so behind.

If you think this is what Florida law has to say about armed self-defense, I strongly urge you to inform yourself better - because it says no such thing. (Hint: Look for the words "forcible felony", which are oddly absent from your description. "No questions asked", my ass.
