I've heard many times from Christians that Christianity isn't a Religion. It's a relationship with God.

So? It's still a Religion.

First time I heard this.

When making such a huge claim like god, it automaticly becomes a religion.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

I think it's a religion according to this definition.This forum makes no sense at all.

In the blogosphere recently there has been a load of new religions cropping up, mainly due to Ray Comfort (idiotic theist) using a rather generic definition of religion ("A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion.") to try and class atheism as a religion. Pretty much every atheist pointed out that this definition meant that a task like stamp collecting could qualify.

Atheism is not a Religion
Christianity is a Religion

Both Ath and Christ are organisation and practice of personal beliefs of way of existance on Earth, duch as praying to the Lord or researching the truth.

The only real difference is that each Atheist is unique and not a sheep to the organisations methods...
