Why do atheists deny that they are just biorobots?

Is this another one of those ludicrous theistic equivocations, where if I only believe that I'm real and not also somehow magic, then I don't get to believe I have all these things that the theists have just randomly decided are also magic and belong to them for some reason, like free will?
